Weaver Valley
The Weaver Valley presents a unique opportunity to create a major recreational resource of regional significance. The project seeks to create a regional park that will provide a focal point for regeneration activities in central Cheshire. The development of the Weaver Valley has been identified as a key economic driver with the potential to deliver enormous economic, social and environment benefits to the region.


Learning and Skills Council (LSC)
The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) exists to make England better skilled and more competitive.

We have a single goal: to improve the skills of England’s young people and adults to ensure we have a workforce of world-class standard. The LSC is responsible for planning and funding high quality education and training for everyone in England other than those in universities.

Our North West regional office is based in Manchester, and with a local office in Middlewich we work closely with our partners and providers in the area to achieve our vision that by 2010, our young people and adults have knowledge and skills matching the best in the world and are part of a truly competitive workforce.
